COMPETITIONS

Each year we run a modelling competition for members to demonstrate their skills in various categories, including Locomotives, Rolling Stock, Structures, Dioramas and Miscellaneous. In each category entries are grouped into one of 4 methods used, i.e. Scratch Built, Kit Built, Kit Bashed or Improved Proprietary. Members present at the competition day vote on each category and method, votes are also cast for the overall trophy winner in each category. 

Our Annual Modelling Competition was held in the club room on Thursday 20th November 2025.

We had 19 models entered by 9 members. Ten members were present for the voting, with models on display on the tables or Blue Mountains layout.
