Founded in 1971, the North Shore Railway Modellers Association (NSRMA) is a Sydney-based club dedicated to excellence in Australian railway modelling. For more than five decades, we have built and exhibited award-winning HO scale layouts representing NSW railway history.

Committed to Excellence in Australian Railway Modelling
NSRMA was formed in November 1971 with the original aim of demonstrating a higher standard of railway modelling than was common in Australia at the time. From its earliest exhibitions through to today, the club has maintained that commitment to craftsmanship, historical accuracy and operational realism.
Our members meet regularly in our Collaroy Plateau clubrooms to build, detail and operate exhibition-quality layouts. The club caters for all skill levels and modelling interests, with a strong focus on Australian prototypes in HO scale.

Our mission is to promote excellence in railway modelling, foster camaraderie among enthusiasts, and present historically accurate, operationally realistic layouts to the public through exhibitions across New South Wales and beyond.
